Approximately 40 acres and includes a Tot Lot, horseshoe pits, a stocked pond (no fishing yet), and about a mile of walking trails as well as covered picnic shelters and restrooms. There is also a state of the art Amphitheater, lighted ball fields, and a 1000' Nature Trail and Walking Trail Bridge. The picnic shelters, Amphitheater and Ball Fields can be reserved for your special events for a fee.
Motel is the Quality Inn in Albemarle, NC which is 15 miles away (But an exceptionally easy drive)
Quality Inn is $59.99 a night for a Double Bed room
(Ask for Model Boat club when reserving rooms).
It is directly across the street from Lowe's and Walmart and among a bunch of
restaurants and right beside a Sonic for those Ice Cream cravings!!! LOL
