Proposals to amend the Club Rules
Circle whether you approve or disapprove of each of the following proposals.
Current wording: “All radios shall operate on the 75 MHz “surface” R/C band, or the 27 MHz R/C band. Members who are licensed amateur radio operators may also utilize appropriate “Ham” frequencies.”
Proposed new wording: “All radios shall operate on a Federal Communications Commission (FCC) approved R/C “surface” frequency. Members who are licensed amateur radio operators may also utilize appropriate “Ham” frequencies.”
Comment: This will allow use of 2.4GHz radios and all subsequent R/C frequencies approved by the FCC.

Add paragraph 9. “Each ship shall have a flotation device attached to the ship to aid in locating the ship in the event that it sinks.”
and:
To amend Part III, Section C. – Battle.
Add paragraph 8. “In the event the flotation device is dislodged, the captain shall take immediate action to return his ship to shore to reattach the flotation device. No other action other than reattaching the flotation device may be taken with the ship.”
Comment: Change to add a flotation device to aid in ship location after it sinks.

2. Proposal to amend the Bylaws

Add the following sentence: “The Annual Championship Site Host shall pay no entry fee for the Annual Championship at which the above functions are to be performed.

3. Election of Member-at-Large.
Comment: The Member at Large represents all the members of the IRCWCC on the E-board. At the Annual Rules Meeting held at Camp Conron in Holmes, New York on July 27, 2007 the following individual was nominated as a candidate for Member-at-Large of the Executive Board. Only one nomination was submitted. Vote for the nominee by circling that person’s name.
